Give the Insects and Spiders category some lurve.
this 1 is fantastic :) the way the wind is blowing her hair around just finishes the picture off nicely in my opinion...great capture :D

"It's Better To Burn Out Than To Fade Away"

STEP OUT OF THE BUS AND INTO THE FOOD CHAIN.... From Alaska
I almost like the pose, and I like the photo in general.
To make it stronger.. give her head a base, by turning her
right shoulder forward a little. I think your white balance is
off. Her tshirt has a pink cast to it. Pretty girl.. I'll bet
she loves the shot.
I def like her expression more :) those eyes...omg

GREAT shot!

The trick to getting more pageviews!
Many thanks for the tip. I've been fighting the pink cast some... the prints look good... not sure what is going on? Then again...I'm red/green color blind... so... you may see something I just can't :( LOL

This was her first time out... she doesn't like to be photographed... her uncle is a pro shooter and has had to beg her to get in front of the camera. LOL

Glad you like the shot and thanks for the comments.

I'm stunned! This is gorgeous! She really shines and the colours are very warm and soft :)

Wow. What a stunning senior portrait! Wow, my Fstop doesn't go down to 2.2, I think the 30D ends at 4.5

"There is room for different point of view, different style, no matter how good of a photographer you are" 'gilad
Many thanks for the kind words. You can shoot down to f/2.2 or even f/1.0 if you bought the old 50 f/1.0 L :) If you don't own the 85 f/1.8 or the 85 f/1.2L.... rent one and see what you think. With your style of photography... I know you would pull off some great shots with either one. On the 30D it would be a 136mm lens.... in a sense. Which the 135L is a wonderful focal length.

Enough babble... thank you again.
